Okay, well, this first picture is from Baños, which is about 30 minutes south of Salasaka (about 6 hours from Quito) but I LOVED it here on Friday!!! The weather is perfect and we went to some hot springs right below this waterfall. Uh-mazing.
Famous angel statue in the background! I forget the name.
This statue is the coolest, you walk up some stairs to the right, and he's aiming his bow RIGHT at you, it is quite the shock!
I think I found the cornucopia from Hunger Games...
The angel statue again, from another side of town (where I went traipsing up some hills trying to find the Mormon church)
The view of the Basilica was amazing! (Video here)
WHY aren't these graffiti artists famous?!
South American graffiti is always amazing, love these murals
I spy Chile's flag!
Italian model?
Cool streets
You can't tell from the picture, but the houses on the hill are such vibrant colors!
...we kind of blocked the view?
I liked this teal rounded corner house, but there was a ferocious-looking dog lying down in the street behind me, so I couldn't back up to get a better picture...
This will have to suffice.
Ah, you can see the colored houses a little better in this one
This reminded me of France!
Photography is hard.
Papa and I visited there too. I always loved looking at the colored houses and the graffiti is amazing! To do so much with so little is inspiring to say the least. We enjoy your pictures and interaction with the children. Glad you're having fun. Stay well!
